Served with ice cream or custard and you have yourself a perfect summery dessert. This galette would be absolutely perfect for a garden party. A refreshing, fruity serve, this is a super easy dessert to make!





If you want a golden brown crust, add an egg wash and some more brown sugar. I prefer a little less sugar if I can help it hence why my pastry is a little more pale!


Ingredients:
- GF pastry
- 1 Asian Pear
- 3 tbsp of honey & more for drizzling
- 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180c
- Roll out your pastry on to some baking paper
- Drizzle over some honey and about 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- Slice up your pear and evenly spread over the pastry but leave some space around the edges
- Mix 2 tbsp brown sugar with 3 tbsp honey and spoon on top
- Gently fold over the edges of the pastry
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes
Best eaten fresh!
