Avocado Mousse

I love everything about this dessert!! Creamy texture, rich bitter flavour, it’s so so perfect. It pairs so nicely with some fresh fruit on the side.

For this recipe I use honey as a sweetener but you can substitute for golden syrup or maple. I use an unsweetened cocoa powder for a rich bitter flavour but if this isn’t to your liking get a sweetened cocoa powder!

This is a perfect dessert for those of you looking for something rich is healthy fats and antioxidants!

The recipe is super easy; mash & blend!

Originally I did plan on using 4 avocados but unfortunately one of them was super hard throughout so ignore the fourth avocado in the pics. Can you believe these were only 4p each?!

Ingredients:

  1. 3 avocados
  2. 1/3 cup almond milk
  3. 1/3 cup syrup
  4. 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  5. pinch of sea salt

Method:

  1. Mash the avocados
  2. Stir in the rest of the ingredients
  3. Once mixed, blend to get out any more lumps from the avocado
  4. I would recommend letting it refrigerate for a couple hours before eating, I think it tastes better but it can be eaten straight away !
