A satisfying morning treat to get you going. A slight remake of classic brownies with a healthier, breakfast friendly twist.
These blend the heartiness of oats with an indulgent nutty chocolate taste. Slightly different taste to standard brownies but still rich with flavour.


Soft and chewy, depending on how many oats you add it can be fudgy or cakey. You could additionally add cinnamon for some extra flavour.
I’ve used almond milk but you can use cows milk if you’d prefer. These oat brownies pair perfectly with some yoghurt, fruit or even ice cream!
(In the midst of making these I completely forgot about pictures since they only take 5 minutes to make so apologies for that)
super easy to make, here are the ingredients:
- 1 cup oats (I used rolled)
- 1 cup plant milk
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup flour (I use gluten free)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- dark chocolate chips
- Mix the oats and milk
- Add in the other wet ingredients
- Add in the flour and baking powder
- Add in the cocoa powder and chocolate chips
- bake at 180c for about 30 minutes
