Vegan Snickers Bars

I’ve made these three times already they’re THAT good. Super easy to make, gluten free, dairy free, vegan! A wholesome plant based twist on a classic. The soft filling mimics the traditional nougat filling and the almond meal adds a little extra softness combined with the chocolate it gives a melt in the mouth texture

(I would recommend keeping them in the freezer just to keep their structure)

Ingredients:

Base:

  1. 1 1/4 cup almond flour
  2. 1/3 cup maple syrup

Filling:

  1. 1 cup peanut butter
  2. 1/4 cup maple syrup
  3. 1/2 cup peanuts
  4. 2 tsp coconut oil

Top:

  1. 1/3 cup dark chocolate
  2. 1 tsp coconut oil

Method:

  1. Mix all base ingredients and add to tin or tray and flatten
  2. Mix all filling ingredients and spread across the base
  3. Melt chocolate and coconut oil and spread on top
  4. leave to refrigerate until set
