I’ve made these three times already they’re THAT good. Super easy to make, gluten free, dairy free, vegan! A wholesome plant based twist on a classic. The soft filling mimics the traditional nougat filling and the almond meal adds a little extra softness combined with the chocolate it gives a melt in the mouth texture
(I would recommend keeping them in the freezer just to keep their structure)




Ingredients:
Base:
- 1 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
Filling:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 2 tsp coconut oil
Top:
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Method:
- Mix all base ingredients and add to tin or tray and flatten
- Mix all filling ingredients and spread across the base
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil and spread on top
- leave to refrigerate until set
